Food For The Goddess

"Vegan food is soul food in its truest form. Soul food means to feed the soul. And, to me, your soul is your intent. if your intent is pure, you are pure." -Erykah Badu-

I love this quote. Your intentions for your life, health, and emotional health, is very important. Foods that we eat everyday can strengthen us or weaken us. They can also bring about unwanted emotions, aggressive sex behavior’s, anger, sleep deprivation, longer or painful cycles and a angry Womb. Many of us are dealing with this as we speak. Some of us do not realize that the foods we eat are the cause of many of our health, mental, and spiritual problems.

Do some research on your blood type. It’s important, because it helps you to determine the best foods for your blood type. It also helps you to know the best foods for your digestive system. Eating foods that can be toxic to your blood type can cause the digestive system not to work properly. There are many books on this subject, I will leave you a couple of them below. But let’s get into the foods for the Womb.

Today we will start off with foods that will strengthen the womb and promote a healthy vagina. Your Womb is full of life force energy, so why not eat foods that are alive.

Leafy greens are essential to the health and healing of the womb because they are alive like you and me. The Womb is life Force energy and produces life in more than one way, So we need to make sure that we eat foods that will assist the Womb in doing its job.

Daily water and a green drink in the morning helps the body and cells to rejuvenate. It also helps get you in the right state of mind to prepare you for the day. Drinking water also aids in digestion by rehydrating the body and moving the lower bowels for regularity & helping to eliminate waste from your body.

We should have in our diet 40% or more of raw, live, uncooked foods and 60% of steamed cooked foods. Kale, broccoli, spinach, collard, cabbage, chard greens, dandelion, mustard, cauliflower, as a base and then add your bell peppers, onions, garlic and herbs and seasoning. Play around with these ingredients to make soups, sauté them, or eat them raw.

Now I do understand that some of you have 70% or more cook foods like meat and other fish that can be heavy on your digestive system which can cause your Womb to work harder. Remember your Womb is below your digestive system. Depending on how your diet was for the month, that basically will determine whether your monthly cycle will be a heavy, painful, PMS, or a spiritual, joyful, and peaceful one. So let’s give the body what it needs to change and be different. Peace!
